The list of sets that will be permanently retired January 1st, 2008 is out! You have till then to add anything you simply "must have" to your collection. Take advantage of my Holiday Wish List form on the left side of this blog...make up your wish list and share it with everyone! Make sure you share it with me too so I can coordinate it all and avoid any disappointment. And after the holidays you'll have some time to fill in the blanks and spend any holiday cash you may have received!

Many of you know that I also sell off my personal stamps that are retiring, and this time is no different. Check back here on Sunday, December 2nd at 6:00pm (EST) for a list of sets I'll be selling. Keep in mind:
- In most cases, these are used sets (what I prefer to called "well-loved). Unless they are unmounted, they have my name on the side of the block, and the stamps and/or wood may be stained. None of this affects how they work of course, but I want that to be understood.
- If the set is unmounted, or mounted but never used, the discount will not be as deep as for those sets that have been used.
- In most cases I only have one of any set, so the sooner you let me know what you'd like, the better your chances of getting it.
- While you can reserve these sets now, I cannot actually sell them to you until January 2nd when they are officially retired. There will be no exceptions. Please don't ask me if you can have them for Christmas or Hanukkah...the answer is no. I will be happy to provide you with a picture of the set if you need it, but you cannot have the actual set. Thank you for your understanding!
So go grab a cup of your favorite drink, your catalog, and a pen; climb into your favorite chair and make your list! (Don't have a current catalog? No problem! You can view it online.)
